The Good: By far the biggest club in the DFW. Very diverse settings, a "Rose Room," for those who like drag. A lounge just too hangout & sit on cumfy couches. And even different music in each setting, plus and outside area. Drinks are good with reasonable prices. The Bad: music is o...k must like techno and party mixes. Targets the younger crowd and twinks galore. Not really my scence but is a comfortable place.

If you like a good drag show, S4 is for you. One of the best Drag stages I've seen in the country, it's obvious that the ownership spent some good money on lighting and sound, and with good reason: these queens are amazing! Look for Krystal Summers, who was literally mobbed with adoring fans during her numbers, and was a fabulous hostess to boot! A great mixed crowd, big dance floor, and fun patio complete the scene. Expensive cover, but worth it for fun night out.

I remember when S4 was the old Village Station. I went during the remodel from Village Station to S4. Openin night was crazy.. lol. It's a good place to hang out, drink with friends and dance the night away. It's usually a big crowd on Saturdays and the music is up to date. Just a friendly atmosphere.

Seems like all they play is diva anthems. I like the bar itself, and the crowd is pretty young and hot.

Everyone goes late and stays late. Take a nap before you go. HOT dancing! and plenty of hot bods.

Honestly I can tell you that Station 4 is nothing but a f*@%$ joke, they treat people like shit and the staff does something wrong toward their customers with a ton of witnesses around them, and blame you for their screw up, this place is all about drama including the drag queens themselves. This establishment is not what it use to be. I would not ever recommend my friends going there at all, cus I don't want their lives to be put in danger. Because Station 4 is the #1 place to go party..

Used to be a fun place to go but now there are too many destructive people working there such as "Dee" who do nothing but harm our gay community. The management needs to be turned around and the club itself lacks any kind of personality compared to other clubs in the nation.
The venue is big but it is wasted because it is normally not even half way full.

This club like most of Dallas has no personality, Nothing but young Stand and model types in there and the music sux, light show is so bright could give you an epileptic seizure! Couldn;t leave well enough alone....aka Village Station! Now we have this crap for the next 30 years not my cup of tea! Sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great, modern and huge venue - unfortunately it attracts all the twinks, underage kids & full-face make up gays. Horrible. On special events like Halloween it may be worth going because the crowd is more mixed but then they hike up the price so much and rip us off !

What a sad thing. Village Station was far superior. S4 is boring, full of straight girls and their boyfriends and the token gay guy in the office and his co-workers. Drag shows are lousy. The drag queens are beautiful, but they display no talent, all they do is walk around and collect dollar bills from people....there is not much show. Ahhh, Kofi, China Blue, Donna Day, CoCo those were entertainers. Caven doesn't seem to get that everytime they do a remodel anymore, it flops. I.E. Village was fine, and now as S4 sucks, TMC was fine, then they remodeled in the 90s and it closed due to lack of business. At least it has reopened where the original Sue Ellens was, but its not the same. Dallas wants to be New York or South Beach and it never will be. A city of immitators and I am a native.

Danced my a** off until 2 AM- could be habit forming... "I'll be back"

Went here my first trip to Dallas and always hit it up when I come back! I love this bar, so many things to do and you never get bored!

I travelled from Canada to meet a friend from Arkansas to celebrate NYE at S4. The people were very friendly and we both met lots of hot guys and had an incredibly fun time there. Dallas seems to have a high number of hot looking men compared to other cities. I would definitely go back next time I make it to Texas.

This is a great bar. I love that there are different things going on in every room. From the patio, to the drag show room, to the dance floor, go go room, and even the smoke free room, I enjoy myself every time I go!

I went to S4 2 weeks ago and I sure miss the Old Village Station. I got a drink (cheap) but seemed watered down with a lot of ice. I'm only in my early 30s and I felt like a old man there. So many kids; I wondered how some got in. So many straight people!!! whats up with all the bridal partiess?? My first visit since the remodel and my last.

I'm a STRAIGHT male and one night my cousin invited me to go along with him. I was a little nervous at first and I was tired as hell. My band had a gig the night before so I hadnt had any sleep in like 48 hours. So I showed up that night around 10 ish' and he was already there. He and one of his female friends had gone to the parade that day and man she was cute!!! We cheked out the drag show which was the funiest thing i had ever seen. Around 2 she got cold so i went with her outside to warm up about 30 minuets later we decided to leav and go back to my apartment. and since that night there hasnt been a day go by that we havent talked we are even starting to plan out our future together. I say S4 isnt only for gays and lesbians but straight people too i am a proud suppoter of the gay comunity and will be till i die.

THIS CLUB TOTALLY SUCKED...I'VE BEEN TO CLUBS ALL OVER, SOME BIG SOME SMALL AND THIS ONE WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. AND ON ITS BUSIEST NIGHT!! THE MUSIC WAS TERRIBLE NOT LIVELY ENOUGH FOR A YOUNG GAY CROWD, PLEASE U CAN ONLY DANCE TO TECHNO REMIXES FROM THE 90s FOR SO LONG!! HOWEVER THE DRINKS WERE GREAT AND NOT A BAD COVER CHARGE EITHER. BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE WANTING A DIVERSE CROWD...EVERYONE LOOKED THE SAME!!

MY WIFE,MYSELF, AND MY COUSIN WENT TO S4 WHILE WE WERE IN DALLAS ON BUSIINESS. THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST CLUBS I'VE EVER ENTERED. WE WERE INVITED BY A HEADLINER FROM THE CLUB! WE HAD A FABOLOUS TIME, AND LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT TRIP TO DALLAS. THE PEOPLE WERE WARM,WELCOMING,AND,KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.!!!!

This place has a section for all us gays; dancing queens, drag queens, pool players, lounge area, even an outside deck. I love the motion/transforming light show over the dance floor, HOT!!

My gay male friend begged and begged me to go to this place with him. I am not a dancer at all and I LOVED this place. I went for Spring Break and have been craving more every since.

I went with my son for his 30th birthday. We had a fantastic time. This is a club I have been looking for. Great dance music. Low cover charge. Beautiful and nice people

After people telling me to try out this club on Sunday nights because it's "Hip Hop Night," I finally decided to check it out. Big Mistake. They played horrible TECHNO music until about midnight and then they decided to play the "hip hop" which by the way wasn't so hip hop after all. Their idea of hip hop is Justin Timberlake and Fergie. No Ma'am! Not my flava at all! To me this is not the place for the young crowd. The club is very beautiful and I love the outdoor patio upstairs but just not a place where I would go to dance.

I visited Dallas the 1st weekend of August 2007 and went to S4- had a total blast. Beautiful men, great drag shows- Cassie Nova had my side hurting she was so funny and Maya Douglas and Krystal Summers are two of the most beautiful entertainers I've ever seen. Check it out!

Station 4 is such a great place to be because a gay or lesbain can express themself and not have to worry about being judged by someone.
Posted: July 26, 2007
I remember the Station from the early 90's and enjoyed hitting that dance floor all the time there. Recently returning, it was great to see the place and bring back memories. It's changed in looks a bit for the greater now. Trouble is, I've changed more since then. lol If I was 20 years younger, I'd feel right at home there now........

This club is an exciting entertaining place with wonderful drag shows and an excellent dance floor. A great place to meet new and interesting people. A safe clean place.

I went to the S4 on a Friday and it kinda blew.. and not the good way. It wasn't extremely horrible and I love the music and the set up of the club, but there just wasn't very many people there. It was like 1/4 full, but the drag show was pretty cool
For 6 bucks you can't complain too much

Went there for my first time with a friend who introduced me to what is called, "Cruising the Crossroads". This is where you go bar hopping between 9:00 - 10:30 PM to the local gay bars, i.e.,JRs, Sue Ellens, etc. and get drinks at discount. Anyway, S4 to me was awesome, exciting, invigorating, lively, and hot. The show was fantastic. People I met were friendly, talkative, and fun to be with considering I did not know any of them. The age group was from mid-20s to 50s, but all accepting. I felt everyone did not care about age other than just having one hell of a good time. I definetely would recommend this place to friends and anyone visiting from out of town looking for a place that is happening, jumping, lively, and entertaining.

Good place. I live in West Hollywood and S4 is actually comparable. Awesome music. Femine, masculine, closet, out; it's a good place for all people. Check it out.

The music is the best. Bangin remixes of hot songs. Metal dance floor is lots of fun espicially when sprinks get spilt

Not a gay bar any longer. The crowd is extremely young with lots of girls and their straight boyfriends. The sound system is absolutely horrible and is mostly a bass noise of thump, thump, thump. Too bad the remodel took away the cruise area where the dj is now located. Unfortunately for Dallas the only men's club for cruising and dancing is now the overcrowded, loud and dark TMC.

To me the club lacked flavor!! Goodlooking crowd, But lacked vibe!

I love going there and watching the couples dance and the great lighting system there as well as the crossdressers and TV shows there. I have a wonderfully fun night each time i go there. the music is always great and the singles actually come up and ask for dances. I am bisexual and the mood is alwaysd great there.

Great place to go if you are looking to be seen. Mostly a stand and model bar for the pretty. Drag shows in the Rose Room are awesome.

A bit too expensive for me. The drinks are pricey. The dance floor is great and the clientele are good looking. So dance to your hearts content. Give it a try and see what you think.

The place looks great after the remodeling, but they forgot that clubs are suppose to SOUND good too! Who's idea was it to put ALL of the subs in one friggin' place?!?! The music is straight cheese as well. I thought the gay clubs were suppose to have cutting edge music, not crappy Top 40 club remixes. And they wonder why they only have crowds on Saturday and Sunday...

Upstairs bar is cozy and AWESOME. The drag shows are also cool and usualy happening.

I had a blast here, this is one of the best clubs I have been to, uh and I've been to a few, this new incarnation of Village Station is off the hook, after midnight the curcuit boys come out and then it really get going, I'm a hot 30 something, and I can assure you I did not leave alone, the hot guys where all over the place, though I must say it is a mixed crowd, some of the people where, uh let's just say you prayed they did not take off their shirts, most of the people where in good shape, I'm a former tri athlete so I judge harshly on fitness I admit, but most of the bodies where good, a few great. The place was packed, it was a Saturday night and it raged until, well we left at 4, and it was still going strong. If in Dallas this is THE club to get your grove on.
So, what do you say?
