      a good bar gone bad
My friend and I came to visit family for Thanksgiving and we found a great bar called Roundup. Suddenly at 12 :30, the bar changed to hip hop and people got rude and the vibe changed. I'll never go there again.

NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT EVEN TRY IF YOU ARE STRAIGHT
I will NEVER go there again. Tonight I tried getting in with my boyfriend and his two male cousins. The guys were in front and were not ID'd so obviously I just kept walking in with them. I got my arm RIPPED BACK by the bouncer and was told I needed to show ID. I personally don't care about having to find my license (although it did take me a minute) it was the fact that the bouncer so violently grabbed me. I do NOT appreciate that and I did let him know it hurt and I did not appreciate being ID'd being the ONLY female with the group. He then got up in my face told me he didnt like that I got in his face ad said "GOODBYE HUNNY you can leave" and then preceded to tell me he was calling the police if I didn't leave. The guys tried talking to him and so did I, but of course he would not have it. We weren't drunk or loud and rude we were just trying to talk to him calmly but he was "body pushing" me out.. I will NEVER go there again. If you expect fair treatment in a straight bar I expect the same in a gay bar. I was so embarrassed and appalled by the bouncers behavior. If you are a straight female trying to get in here it's not even worth your time, find another bar.

      ALWAYS has business!
Every saturday night I go here its busy. It's a spacious bar that offers a few games to play other than pool and darts, unlike any other Dallas clubs. Bars are located everywhere inside but the drinks are usually light. The music tends to be mixed from country to dance but I dont know the nightly themes. It does hold a country western appeal though. Waiting in line here for drinks would be my main complaint but its a nice place to visit.

      Jersey Boy in Dallas
I began coming down to Dallas a little over 8 years ago. Ever since then I have been coming back more and more, now I am usually there at least 3 times a year. Each and every time I am here I have to the Round-Up, love it there. I've never been a big fan of Country but for some reason this place just brings it out in me. Good prices, good drinks and good people thats the triple threat that makes this place stand out.

      Round-Up woohoo!
My hubby and had a wonderful time there while visiting Dallas. he bartenders areal handsome hunks, and we love the way the nplace is decorated. I am also a fan of Cuntry music, so I was glad to find a place where they not only play it but the people also dance. What a joyful bunch of people! I never learned to dance, but watching them made me eager. My hubby and I want to move to Dallas at some point-- we can definitely see Round-Up Saloon as a regular hangout for us!

      Prepare to be judged
Not sure i get the allure of this place. The bar definitly has the best looking guys in the city, but they know it. Attitude in spades here. Always groups of friends together that just stare at everyone. Not very friendly if you are not part of the scene there. Use to go there a lot as it is the place to go, but the attitude just got to be so comical. But if you are late 20s to early 30s and hot, then this is the place for you.
