Always a great place for live music and campfire charm.
Jack's Backyard has a great atmosphere, very cool outside sitting under the trees and stars. For those that don't like being under those, then there is a converted train boxcar that patrons can sit in. The music is always good in my opinion and even though there are a lot of straight people here, one can definitely find a few of the alternatives through the crowd. Just be careful who you hit on as I did see a guy blast another for hitting on him.
Awesome space for music, pool, or hanging out!
Neighborhood bar converted from a car repair place. Big roll up doors to catch a cool breeze, or listen to music. 2 big pool tables to play on, and a large open courtyard. It's more lesbian than gay, but it's a great mix with no attitude. Drinks can be slow as the bartenders talk to everybody, but it's also part of the charm. VERY fun/nice place to grab a cocktail!
