Dallas Eagle (Closed Permanently)

(271 Ratings)
Very popular leather/levi's bar
The music is pumping and the atmosphere dark--just the way you like it. It is pretty mellow earlier in the day, but after 11pm the party really takes off.

Eagle? more like Beagle

Fun bar, good looking guys, but it's just not the true leather bar one would expect. They lost something in the move. It's too stale and sterile now. No "fun" goes on to speak of anymore.

best bar in dallas !

I spend every night here during my week in Dallas, the bar is great, men are hot and very friendly, great patio to smoke and talk, Damon at the bar was very friendly, and i met some nice people here. I recommend The Eagle to every european visitors!

New Location

The place has moved to a new location from the address that is on here. I don't go a ton, as it isn't very convenient to the strip, but when I do go, I always have a great time. The staff and the guys are all very friendly, and the new one is one of the nicer eagles that I have ever been to.

Just ok, but there are better places...

Out of the four Eagles I have been to, this one is still pretty lame. The men are mostly submissive bottoms, which works out well for me, but I'm only 29, if an older guy is gonna hit on me, I want a man, not a nelly, hairy queen in leather...drink prices are expensive because they think Dallas is a real city...they are trying though and its a good place to go laugh at people when you are drunk, other than that, there are much better bars...

Good Basic Bar with Leather Trimmings

A nice place to go for an evening out in Dallas, this like many Eagle bars is nominally leather, but actually what would be called a "cruise" bar, with occasional leather trim. Upstairs balcony for watching the crowd and getting groped, pool table, multi-level seating areas throughout, a very good layout for ... cruising. In 10 years of visiting Dallas, I have never felt the least urgency to wear more than a leather vest to this bar, in part because it's stinking hot in the summer, and in a world of teeshirts and jeans, it seems overdressed even in winter. Not the faintest hint of leather danger or excitement sparks the place, but if you want to see hot men, throw back a couple of beers, and enjoy the music and scene, this is an old reliable.
