The Hottest Half

The Hottest Half , 10k & 5k is the original summer half marathon. Before the Hottest Half there were no half marathons in Texas during the summer. We have survived the heat and now we will be celebrating our 10th edition in 2017! The Hottest Half, 10k & 5k is part of three challenges! The World's Toughest Half Challenge, The Sizzling 10k Challenge & The Four Seasons Half Challenge. This will be our first year at the Ron Kirk Bridge. Our courses will be similar to previous years because we started and ended near hear the past few years. This is a very flat course run in the Trinity River bottoms next to the four corners area. Water stations every mile and DJ Dames entertaining with a great event shirt, medal and awards. Summer Half Marathon? No problem! Let’s do the Hottest!
