Mande Baysinger
I am inspired by everything from underwater seascapes to downtown architectural marvels. Everything around me has the possibility for being the inspiration for my next creation. The simplest shape and color can spark my imagination for an entire piece.
I have been working with kiln-formed glass for the last 10 years and have developed my own special relationship with the medium. I venture into experimental pieces quite often and have pushed further to achieve a variety of textured results. The kiln formed glass is achieved through a process that involves multiple firings at varying temperatures as well as working with molten glass to form what is known as vitro-graph. This allows me to create that perfect accent or focal point for a piece. It allows you to be as free and organic as you can imagine while also allowing for a ridged structure when called upon.
Omar Saldivar
Omar is an artist living in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Monterrey, Mexico and studied graphic design in Centro de Estudios de Diseño Monterrey. There, he absorbed a passion for painting and drawing that started at a very early age.
Through the years he developed a fascination for Pop Art, specifically portraits, with intense colors and black and white contrast. In 2006 he moved to Dallas to peruse his ambitions and dedicate more time to painting. Currently he paints in his free time but has an aspiration to do it professionally.
