The Dallas Women's Cycling Collective brings the community 3 different rides for all levels of cyclists. The rides are for anyone that wants to support women on bikes. All 3 rides will start and end at the Continental Bridge and have pre-planned routes with experiend ride leaders. Please arrive in time to be ready to ride at 9:30 am. There is a large parking lot on the west side of the bridge, however, riding to the start is highly encouraged.
Casual Ride: all bikes welcome on this slow roll through the streets of Dallas. The route is approximately 10 miles and will be family friendly. Please bring flat tire changing tools, extra tube, hydration, ID, nutrition, and money for a snack. Helmets required.
Road Ride: The approximately 30 mile no drop loop will cruise through a scenic part of South Dallas. The average pace will be 14-16 mph and may split off into 2 groups depending on rider skill level. There is 1 rest stop on this route. Please bring flat tire changing tools, extra tube, hydration, ID, nutrition, and money for a snack. Helmets required.
Gravel Ride: The route is approximately 11 super fun miles on dirt and gravel paths. The ride is no drop at an easy to moderate pace. Mountain bike, gravel bike, and cross bikes only. For safety reasons, no road bikes on this ride. Please bring flat tire changing tools, extra tube, hydration, nutrition, ID, and money for a snack. Helmets required.
