This is the 35th annual (free) Super Bowl ride hosted by Dallas' oldest bicyling club---Greater Dallas Bicyclists. Bicycle clubs from all over the Metroplex will be road riding to the West End to have lunch at Dick's Last Resort. 9:15a Gather at Valley View Park (western parking lot). If lot is full, please park in the next lot and ride over to lot closest to Hillcrest.
9:30a Wheels Down (Ride Departs)
10:30a Meet Bike Friendly Cedars and 12 mile riders at The Lot Restaurant (7530 East Grand Avenue, Dallas) off the Sante Fe trail and continue ride.
11:30a Arrive at Dick's Last Resort (Lamar St.) for lunch with all riders.
1:00p Return ride departs.
2:30p Ride ends at Valley View Park
Distance: 34 miles from Valley View Park (17, lunch, 17) or 12 miles from The Lot Restaurant (6, lunch, 6) No drop (no rider left behind). 65% MUP (multi-use path), 35% (bicycle shared lane) road.
Speed: Ride at your own pace, but you should be able to maintain a minimum average speed of 10mph for at least 10 miles before joining this ride.
Bring: Helmet, water, cell phone, $/cc for lunch, lock.
