About Artistic Encounters: Artistic Encounters is a program where new and returning visitors work with artists to explore the creative process through dialogue and art making. Each program is co-created with a selected artist to produce a workshop inspired by both their practice and the collection at the Dallas Museum of Art. Participants get to work closely with the artist, learning about their artistic process in a hands-on format. Past programs have seen work across conventional mediums such as painting and sculpture but have also spanned writing, performance, photography and even pañuelo art! Join us for one of our evenings and you’ll for sure leave with the right-side of your brain ticking. Artistic Encounters is offered six times throughout the year in the Center for Creative Connections.
