Join the Turtle Creek Chorale’s Chamber Chorus and Camerata in a concert of choral music of British and American composers. These two ensembles are sub-sets of the world-renown Turtle Creek Chorale. The Chamber Chorus is a 28 singer ensemble that performs several concerts each year as well as in performance at all TCC concerts. Chamber Chorus is co-conducted by Artistic Director Trey Jacobs and Associate Conductor Sean Baugh. Camerata is a 9 singer ensemble that is patterned after the acclaimed King’s Singers, and is conducted by TCC pianist Scott Ayers.
Song selections include If Ye Love Me, by Thomas Tallis; Yesterday, made popular by the Beatles; And So It Goes, by Billy Joel; The Pasture, by Randall Thompson; Tell My Father, from The Civil War; Prayer of the Children, by Kurt Bestor; and Homeland which combines the music of British composer Gustav Holst in arrangement by American composer Z. Randall Stroope.
