BearDance: TBRU 19 "Space Cowboy and the Planet of the Bears"

Don't miss BearDance: TBRU 19...the biggest party of Texas Bear Round-Up weekend as we present SPACE COWBOY and the PLANET of the BEARS! Rock out in your sci-fi garb, cowboy/astronaut gear, or come in bear wear, but if you're a furry, we sure hope your spirit animal is a bear! In the end, we just wanna see you guys dancing shirtless and we promise a party that's out of this world! Nearly 2000 bears and their friends attended last year, setting a new record. BearDance is the largest fundraising event of TBRU, and the only official party open to both registrants and non-registrants alike. BearDance's Space Cowboy and the Planet of the Bears will blast off with DJ Jesse Mercado of Nuts to Butts party fame from IML/Bear Pride weekend opening the evening and bear circuit favorite DJ DOUG JACKSON as headliner will take us into outer orbit! Both Doug and Jesse have a dedicated fan base of bears and friends across the country from their home bases of Fort Lauderdale and Chicago. Our DJ line up will feature two additional artists, DJ Roke Cabrera and Romann Martinez, with some music to let you chill before re-entry to the dance floor. BearDance returns to state-of-the-art nightclub Station 4 (S4) where guests will enjoy a spectacle of heart-pounding sound and dazzling lights and we plan to include some new lighting and GLOW effects this year. S4 is located in the heart of Dallas’ gay district and served by the TBRU Shuttle. Doors open at 8pm for ages 18+ with after-hours continuing until 4am. Check out the most amazing dance floor in Dallas, or chill out in the second floor Granite Bar, check out additional bartenders and bear go go dancers in the Onyx bar, and the Rose Room will feature an underwear fashion show from sponsor thrIII and two entertainment shows featuring local drag talent and bear rapper superstar- Big Dipper, the outdoor patio, and by demand, the bear and cub box dancers are back! From the BearDance: TBRU 18 party, BearDance donated $34,000 to the Dallas Bears and the TBRU beneficiaries. This single donation accounted for over half of the total monies dispersed to local LGBT charities. This year's beneficiaries include the Greg Dollgener Memorial AIDS Fund, the Resource Center, and AIDS Outreach Center. Come have a great time while doing good for the community!
