INFORMATION ON THE DRAG BALL... "EVERYBODY WALKS"
At 8pm (near the box office) the sign in table will open up and will remain open until 11:30pm when the Ball begins.
The concept is "Everyone Walks," while we encourage you to dress in drag for participation in the Ball. Drag is about expression and projecting how you feel, and a Ball is about taking that to the runway. That doesn't mean you have to dress up to walk. Think of it like Karaoke but walking down a runway instead of singing.
This is an open runway, so gay, straight it doesn't matter. We call it a community ball.
The Ball will be held behind screen, however space is limited so if we reach capacity we will have to move the ball onto the stage and in the Theatre.
This is a for fun event, but we will have judges who will be awarding participants Trophies and ribbons.
If you have any questions please feel free to write us a note here on the event page or a private message to CinéWilde at the Texas Theatre
CinéWilde is hosted by the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff and is programmed and organized by Daniel Laabs, Daniel Villarreal & DR Mann Hanson
