Women unite in Dallas, TX to celebrate women's liberation from the 1800's moving forward. From abolitionists to suffragists to the equal rights movement, we encourage you to pick your favorite decade, dress the part, and join the march!
Timeline draft:
Rally starts promptly at 7:00 p.m!!!

If you are not wearing clothing of the eras mentioned below then please wear white to honor the suffragists.
*** For the message of this march to be successful please stick to the theme. The following are the groups that the march will be divided into, so please dress accordingly. The announcer will direct the marchers so please don't march until directed to:
Group 1- Suffragists (White Dresses), please try to make ur own orange sashes and you can use words like elect women, trust women etc. will look nice in photos.
Group 2- 60's-70's (has to represent this era and you can wear color)
Group 3 - Present (current issues and continuation of our resistance to oppression)***
***parking info : please plan to be there 30 minutes early so you can park, or plan ahead if you are carpooling, or riding the train.
DART directions for Belo Garden:
get off the train at Akard, walk west along the platform to Field St. Take a left (south) on Field to Main (two streets over) turn right (west again) to Belo Park on the south side of Main @ Griffin.
Meters on Main: most meters are free after 6pm BUT NOT ALL, so be sure & read the notice. Meters require coinage on this end of the central business district. Bring quarters.
Parking lot (open street level very clean) on Main St. across from Bank of America bldg is closest to Belo Garden. $5***
