BearDance: TBRU features bear circuit favorite DJ/Producer John LePage as headliner with DJ Doug Jackson bringing the thrilling evening to a close. Both John and Doug have a dedicated fan base of bears and friends across the country from their home bases of San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale. They have a friendship with each other, have both been selected to headline the legendary Fireman’s Ball in the past or future, and they are natural choices to spin for BearDance’s 5th anniversary of partnering with Texas Bear Round Up. These amazing artists will make sure your booty is shaken (not stirred)!
BearDance: TBRU returns to state-of-the-art nightclub Station 4 (S4) where guests will enjoy a spectacle of heart-pounding sound and dazzling lights. S4 is located in the heart of Dallas’ gay district and served by the TBRU Shuttle. Doors open at 8pm for ages 18+ with after-hours continuing until 4am. Check out the most amazing dance floor in Dallas, the Shaken Not Stirred Martini Lounge, the Villain’s Lair bar, the Pussy Galore Showroom and Casino, the outdoor patio, and by demand, the bear and cub box dancers are back!
In 2012, the dance resulted in a contribution of $30,000 to the Dallas Bears by our partners at BearDance. This single donation accounted for over half of the $58,000 total dispersed to local charities as a result of TBRU. Beneficiaries include Youth First Texas, Sharon St. Cyr Fund (SSC Fund) and the Nutrition Program – Resource Center of Dallas.
