Lance ʻLand Sharkʼ DeSardi, in a nutshell.
DEEP F@#KING HOUSE. Well thatʼs what he calls it, anyway. Some might say his sound blurs the lines

Lance ʻLand Sharkʼ DeSardi, in a nutshell.
DEEP F@#KING HOUSE. Well thatʼs what he calls it, anyway. Some might say his sound blurs the lines
between house and techno, but no one could deny that itʼs deep. Sub-aquatic deep. 20,000 leagues under
the sea deep. Deeper than the Marianas Trench. Deeper than a deep-fried Mars bar kind-of-deep. Well,
maybe not that deep. That shit is DEEP.
At 34 earth cycles (not looking a day over 40), Lance is currently splitting his time between London and San
Francisco, having a full production studio in the latter, where he works on his own productions as well as for
some of the biggest names in the business, using the term ʻbusinessʼ very loosely.
Another focus at the moment is his label Bang The Box, which he co-runs with Brett Johnson, of Classic and
Visionquest notoriety. The label has released music from some of the nicest–oh yeah, and talented–people
around, including Pillow Talk, John Tejada, Tone of Arc, The Mole, Convextion, JT Donaldson, and even
Brett and Lance themselves.
His studio mix credits
include work for labels like Visionquest, Wolf & Lamb, Crosstown Rebels, Black Catalouge, Hottub and others.
As far as his own music is concerned, heʼs had loads of remixes and his own 12”s under various monikers
for labels like Classic, Dessous, PIAS, Lazy Days, or Seasons, on which he released a full length album with
JT Donaldson as Undercover Agency. The duo also had some success in 2004 with a DJ mix compilation
and double unmixed vinyl for OM Records called San Francisco Sessions Volume 5.
