C.U.R.E.and Walgreens presents AIDS Walk South Dallas 2013 (formerly South Dallas AIDS Walk). The 2.1 mile walk/run kicks off Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 8AM. Our newest partner and host for AIDS Walk South Dallas 2013 is the historical St. Philip’s School and Community Center located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The 2.1 mile walk’s route will begin at Pennsylvania and Julius Schepps Freeway continuing through other historical areas of South Dallas and winding back to St. Philips. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the walk starts at 10:00 AM. Live entertainment and fun activities courtesy of community partners will headline the closing ceremonies. Registration is available now for walkers, vendors, nonprofits and community based organizations at www.aidswalksouthdallas2013.eventbrite.com. All funds raised will be granted to AIDS Service Organizations and Community Based Organizations providing direct and/or indirect services to people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
