According to their myspace page, the club has closed. says "closed due to bad ownership" Too bad I say... the club really had potential. but the writing was on the wall. I went half dozen or so times, and each time was a little worse....the last time half the club was roped off. The quality of dancers was hit and miss...and wasn't that the whole purpose of the club???

This club is so desperate for business they go around trashing other clubs in the area.

Thius is truly a men's club for gay men. I had a blast of a time in the VIP area watching the hot boys get wet in the shower!!!! The GM is a totally HOT former entertainer and he was quick to give me a hug and show me around the club. Say goodbye to the old Zippers and Tin room. Hello to an ACTUAL MEN'S CLUB for me and all my friends..... PS Monday night is the night for all my girls to party and see the hot female danders.....

This place is a dump in a terrible area of Dallas. I was scared to park my car. --- Not sure what you think is a terrible area of Dallas but I personally think that there are other clubs located in much worse areas of Dallas. Maple Avenue has 4 other gay bars within a two block area and there will be another club opening up in that same area within two months.--- They try to call this place "upscale" but I was served my over-priced cocktail in a plastic cup. ---I think Cherries is actually very "upscale" compared to most of the other clubs that are not located on the "strip". It's always clean and a very new and fresh atmosphere. The only time I have every had a drink served in a plastic cup was the first night they opened and there was such a large crowd that they served soda in plastic cups.--- There are not shower stalls as advertised. There is one lousy corner of the building that has a shower head dangling from the ceiling. "MODELS" in their underwear stand under the black lights and paint themselves with glow in the dark paint. Talk about watching paint dry... It is boring. ---I have never seen any type of advertisement that says "shower stalls". All I have seen advertised is a shower and each time I have been in there the shower area (in the VIP section of the club) is the place to watch hot males with great bodies working the shower area and using some hot florescent black light body paint to do some crazy things with while in the shower area. Unlike the "dangling shower head you seem to be talking about .. I have seen two shower heads, not dangling from the ceiling but attached to the wall .. not tacky at all!--- They don't have a dance license so the "models" can't dance on the boxes around the room. They have to stand there and try to hustle the guests for tips. Imagine that... They expect you to tip these guys for walking around the bar in their underwear. ---I have seem MANY clubs where the "dancers" just stand around on the box's or cruise mingle the club doing more than just getting the customers to buy drinks. I have seen places where the "dancers" hustle the crowd begging for money .. in fact at one club in Dallas I had a dancer stop me and ask where my money was because he thought I should be tipping him .. now that's what I call tacky!--- Totally skip this dud of a bar and go to bars that are owned by the gay community. Oh.. wait.. I forgot to tell you. The owner of Cherries is a STRAIGHT guy! ---WOW .. should I start listing the clubs in Dallas that are owned by "straight" people or companies? There are MANY .. I am quite sure you would be surprised at the number of them and the names of the clubs/dance bars!---
