This place has changed venues and crowd over the years. As of late, I rather enjoy the hot men, music, drinks, and darkness......... HHHHMMM

My partner and I hung out a couple of nights at TMC while attending TBRU in Dallas back in March. I LOVED the music they were playing! Okay, it was what some would consider 'old school' music, but it was the type of music that was played at the bars back in days that I still had a little hair on my head.
The patio out in front was great. We sat out there chatting with our friends, grooving to the music, and watching the people go up and down the street.
If we lived in Dallas, we would be at this bar A LOT!

While its hard to find good staff at bars in most Dallas locations, the nasty greeter at the door of TMC takes the cake. He obviously feels the need to critique everyone and everything. The mediocrity needs to know his place. He is a skinny man with a pot belly and the ubiquitous Texas German goatee with neither physical charm nor manners. He ruined by his bad behavior what was a good night out with my friends.
I would easily rate it 4 stars but for that individual

This place has re-opened last October in what used to be Sue Ellen's spot.
I've only been there on weekends so can't really speak for what it's like on a Thursday night.
Expect dark inside. If you've been to the previous TMC then you know what I mean. If it's going to be busy, it will be later at night. The music is usually fun and easy to dance to. They have some great draft beer specials and there is a large patio as well. It can be a bit of a meat market at times but it's easy to avoid that if you wish. They also have dancers up on boxes if you enjoy that.
The staff has been very friendly in my experiences there.
So, what do you say?
