Our bachelorette crew ended the night partying it up at Illusions. They gave us up front seating with an intense show of the best drags ever!!! Performances were awesome! Staff was totally rocking! Best place ever to have a great time!!

I'LL TELL YOU WHAT....I HAD 25 WOMEN UP IN THIS PLACE FOR A BACHLORETTE PARTY AND WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL!!!! THE ATMOSPHERE WAS FUN AND RELAXED! HOLE IN THE WALL KIND OF PLACE BUT GUARANTEED FUN!! FRIENDLY, COOL, DOWN TO EARTH FOLKS.....BEST TIME I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME AND I'M STRAIGHT!!!HELL THEY EVEN FED US AT THE END OF THE NIGHT FOR FREE!! I WILL GO BACK DEFINITELY...OH AND THE DRAG QUEENS WERE GREAT!!

Great fun and good staff!

Ive started stopping in more and more, and i am really starting to feel like family. The Bartenders, George, James, and Jimmy, are really friendly and serve good drinks. Little Jay has no problems servin up dish, or showing you right wear thr door is, if needed. The Game show is a blast to watch and play in, and even though they lost thier last pinball machine( I think i was the only one to play it) they have pool, video games and a great jukebox that has anything you could possibly want to hear!!

went with a few friends on Saturday night. Drag show was good....drag queens were a little on the ugly side. Great service. Bartenders attentive & fast....They offer flowers for sale. It's a dive bar but it looks like they have a steady crowd. Loud music during the show. Plenty of seating by the stage. I believe this is the ONLY drag bar in Dallas and it's pretty good. Gay & straight people were out in full force. I will be back.

Nice local neighborhood bar

Illusions has since redecorated and has a more cozy "L" shaped bar. It is truly a place to be yourself.

Great Place

I've lived in Dallas for 2o years and this place is great. It's just a hole in the wall but has great dancers and awesome bartenders...the best secret is their drink prices are CHEAP! It's a small bar with a comforting attitude.

Worth the Effort

This place is great to get off the beaten path of Cedar Springs. Parking can be a challenge on Saturday nights, but if you go to Cedar Springs, you're probably used to walking a block or more anyway. Great bartenders (except 1), lowest prices I've found, good shows, very friendly place, & juke box so you can play what YOU want to hear. I like it!

Was Fun In The Day

Was fun but same old same old. Cheer it up some and people will come back. Dancers, drink specials and not the same old same old drag every weekend will bring back the people. We want how it was when they opened.

Great neighborhood bars for pool, darts, karaoke, and the Saturday night drag (or variety) show. Sometimes shows are delayed, but that happens at every place that has drag shows. Very reasonable prices.

Illusions Used to Be Fun

Illusions used to be a fun place to see a drag show. But their material has grown tired and stale. Also, they rarely start their shows on time. That is very frustrating, so much so, that I have stopped going there.
