What we say
Popular with a diverse crowd with a tinge of leather
You'll find a lot of different types at the Hidden Door, but really, it's a bear bar and the scene is dominated by friendly, ultra-masculine men. The Sunday afternoon beer bust is the most popular time to go, with a crowd of bare-chested bears getting frisky.

Ive only been there on Sat. nights so maybe im not seeing what everyone else is. Its was a nice diverse crowd, and I love the patio area it is one of the best in Dallas I think. But the drinks are overpriced, the bartenders are friendly though. As a chaser being in a bar like that, I didnt see any eye candy. Mostly men too old for me & overpriced drinks. But if you wanna enjoy the game on a nice patio thats the place.(this is sat. nite speaking)

We were interested in this bar and it is unusual. A good mixture of all kinds of people that are into anything and everything.

James and Harvey are exemplary bartenders. Friendly patrons for the most part. Great for their 50 cent beers for those on a budget. Described as "blue collar" bar by local wags. However this white collar professional likes the bar. They have great security and have zero tolerance for the post jail street trash

Another great bar that is out of the mainstream. Great Sunday afternoons out on the patio, unbelieveable drink specials, fun Friday nights. One of my favorite bars in town!
