Then Alex's is the place. A small bar, almost like a modern day Cheers. Good people, excellent bartenders and overall just a relaxing enviroment. If you'd like to just kick back with a friend or 2, then it's the place for you.

When your new in town, it's always nice to go to a small bar where everyone is friendly like this one. Bartenders are very friendly. As is the case in 2009, it is mostly busy on weekends.

Drinks aren't any cheaper than other bars in the same area (within walking distance). The music is sung/played by people that are trying to "make it". They remake a bunch of popular songs while giving their own twist, I guess it's kinda cool... unique to say the least. The only benefit this place has over others is that people under age can get into and drink without being carded.

Good service, despite the crowds. Very good Barkeeps, good people, and good times. Check it out.

The place is hot, nice furnishings, beautiful bar... live music. A cool getaway from reality.

After the new owners took over, it went down hill..it used to be a classy jazz bar. But now, the charm is gone and just a smokey bar with a clickish crowd. Sorry, calling it like I see it.

She (he) sings all her owns songs and I have to say it was the most entertaining bar Ive been to in Dallas. Nothing compares.

It is the only gay bar that has class on the strip!!
