I have been hangn at the Brick lately and it is not that bad. I am 40 and white and once you get to know some of the people it is not that bad. You have to make yourself have fun and enjoy yourself as much as the club. The shows are not great, but the music is hip, the drinks are great, and the bois dancn are the bomb! I enjoy myself every time I go!
If you not gay Whiplash will have you thinkin' twice about that. I had a fantastic time!!!!!!!!
This place is not just a good black club, it is a good club in general. Being it's GLTB-oriented makes it even Better. one of the best in the area
The Brick is definitely not a place for an older crowd. If you're expecting a place where you can talk and get to know someone, this place is not for you. It's more of a "Put your number in my phone" kinda spot. Expect to hear hardcore hip-hop and that's it. For a younger person, like myself it's heaven. On Fridays, it's mostly females and on Saturdays it's the spot for the Boys. The shows are not professional however very entertaining. The atmosphere is more like a HUGE house party. All in all, i love it!
I am a professional.....This place was not for me. I was overdressed and felt totally out of place. It appeared as if most of the crowd just rolled out of bed with the clothes they had on..(total turn-off). However, I did see a couple of young hot thungs.
Its a good club for ages 18-24. Good drinks and really cool shows!!
I went to the Brick this weekend and it was not what they posted it to be.Together we paid $25 to get in,what happen to $10?They should call the entertainment the amture show, were in the hell did they come from? The drinks was the only thing that kept me alive, but they were $$.Dj played the same songs all nite!!
WELL IT IS CLOSE TO THE SUMMER AND THE BRICK IS COMING OUT,THE CROWD IS COMING BACK AND SO AM I.MY GIRL AND I ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE UP COMING EVENTS AT THE BRICK.LAST WEEKEND WAS HOT...HOPE TONITE IS EVEN HOTTER.
I WENT THIER ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT AND IT WAS $$ AND THEY DRINKS WERE NOT ALL THAT. OVER ALL I WOULD GO BACK BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY BLACK CLUB IN DALLAS THAT IT POPPIN.JUST TAKE SOME FRIENDS ALONG FOR THE COMPANY.
well i went to the brick for the very first time last wekend............and it was okay but for my first time it was a little to much. when i first heard about the "shows" that different ppl do i thought it would be a stage and everything but it wasnt.................it was just ppl doing shyt in the middle of the floor and why do males be in females restroom? they still cant swat
I would not consider the brick a hole in the wall. It holds up to 500 ppl or more. Yes,the smoke is heavy in there and on Friday nights it is mainly 18yr olds in there but it is crunk. The DJ is off da chain
wow, a hole in the wall kinda club, theres really no breathing room aside from the smoke that gets in your hair and clothes, its better to be with friends you like hanging around when going here cuz ya'll want to be next to them all night

There is too much voilence, hanging around outside, and parking is a mess. Don't waste your time. Frankly, I'm surprised it is still open.
You see the same people there every weekend. In my opinion, the club is just too old-looking and small. The drags and T-girls look a HOT MESS! Also, it's like $15 to go in. There is too much smoking and chilling and not enough dancing and conversing.
So, what do you say?
